Kavirayani Public School is a CBSE-affiliated school in Parvathipuram, run by the Kavirayani Educational Society. Founded in 2002 and affiliated to the Central Board since 1 April 2005, the school today serves children from Kindergarten through Class X, on a five-acre campus along the banks of the Thotapalli reservoir. The school is the only CBSE institution in the town.
Our purpose is to provide a value-based education that takes both the curriculum and the character of the student seriously. The two are not in tension — a well-taught classroom and a well-formed young person belong together, and we have built the school around that belief.
Practically, we aim for three things. To deliver the CBSE curriculum to the standard the board expects, taught by faculty who know their subjects. To give every child a school day that includes language, science, sport, art, and the discipline of an assembly. And to keep the school small enough that every student is known by their teachers — and recognised, by name, every morning.
To every parent and student who has placed their faith in Kavirayani — thank you.
We have always believed that young people who bring a positive attitude, dedication, and a clear sense of purpose can find their way to the top of any field they choose. The work of the school, as we understand it, is to encourage exactly those qualities in every child who joins us — alongside, and not separate from, the academic curriculum.
Our strength is our teachers. Many of them have been here for years. Together they have helped hundreds of students through the school, into senior school elsewhere, and onward — and that, more than any individual result, is what we keep working at.
We are glad you have come to know us through this site. If something brought you here, you are welcome to visit the school in person.
The Kavirayani Educational Society opens the school on a quiet plot in the outskirts of Parvathipuram.
No Objection Certificate received from the Principal Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh, School Education Department (NOC No. 20766/CS 1/2004, dated 22 December 2004).
Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education on 1 April 2005 under Affiliation No. 130187 — a position the school has held continuously since.
Year by year, the five-acre campus has grown around what students need: classrooms, laboratories, library, playing fields, transport, and the staff to make all of it work.
If you are considering the school for your child, the most useful thing you can do is walk the campus on a working morning. We’d be glad to show you around.
